Dyson Airstrait introduces a completely new approach to hair straightening – it uses a powerful, precisely directed airflow to simultaneously dry and smooth hair, without the need for traditional heating plates.

Thanks to advanced high-pressure air technology, hair is styled from wet to perfectly straight in a single step, with a significantly reduced risk of heat damage. The device is designed for everyday use, with an emphasis on hair health and ease of styling.

The Dyson Hyperdymium™ motor generates a strong yet controlled airflow that enables effective straightening during drying, while intelligent heat control constantly regulates temperature to preserve the hair’s natural moisture and shine.

Intelligent sensors detect when hair is placed between the arms of the device and automatically adjust the airflow, making styling quieter, more precise, and more efficient. In addition, an automatic pause after inactivity ensures greater convenience and safety.

With a modern color LCD display, intuitive controls, and the signature Dyson design, this device represents a new generation of hair straightening tools – without compromising between performance and hair protection.

Intuitive airflow
The device detects when hair is between the arms and automatically switches to a low airflow mode when it is not, for quieter and more efficient styling.

Automatic pause
After three seconds of inactivity, the device automatically stops. Simply move the device to restart the airflow.

Direct airflow for smoothing and straightening
The airflow is directed downward at a 45° angle to create the tension needed for straightening hair for a smooth finish, with less damage and breakage.

Dyson Hyperdymium™ motor
A 13-blade impeller spins at up to 106,000 rpm and pushes 11.9 liters of air per second through the device. This generates up to 3.6 kPa of air pressure, strong enough to straighten hair while drying.

Intelligent heat control
Glass bead thermistors located in the device handles regulate airflow temperature up to 30 times per second to prevent damage from extreme heat and help protect the hair’s natural shine.
